28 October 2001
The winter timetable is almost complete. You can expect new domestic flights in Italy and two flights from Milan to Malta and back. Sadly much of the SKYlines traffic out of London City Airport has been cancelled. The new timetable should be out soon.

03 October 2001
SKYlines and Winterdhavian Airlines are successful in the bid to take over World International's Singapore hub. SKYlines will hold 45% of the Singapore Hub, Winterdhavian will also have 45% and World International VA Holdings with 10%. More details will come soon.

24 September 2001
SKYlines are launching a joint bid with Winterdhavian Airlines to take over World International's Singapore hub. Ealier this year Air Sharawy (owned by Winterdhavian) tried to take over the Singapore hub, but this move was blocked by the other members of the Moonshine Alliance.

16 September 2001
There are a limited amount of flights to and from London resuming. This are the flights:
SL089 to SL095
SL090 to SL096
SL103 and SL104
SL187 and SL188
and all London Stanted - Milan flights.
All other flights will resume on September 19th.

All flights to and from London have been cancelled until September 19th.

All the thoughts of every-one at SKYlines and the Moonshine Alliance go to every-one who was involved in the terrible attack in New York and Washington.

All flights to the US have been canceled until further notice due to the FAA closing US airspace.

26 August 2001
Starting on the 1st of November a new 777-200 will fly to Denver daily. And between then and Febuary 1st Fox Air Shuttle will fly a connection flight to Aspen/Pitkin Airport with a 737-500 which just about fits into the airports ristrictions.

Yesterday it was confirmed that we are buying Fox Air Shuttle from Tommy Fox CEO of Fox Air. Fox Air Shuttle also a member of the Moonshine Alliance recently stopped operations from its base and only hub La Gaurdia, New York. The deal includes all traffic rights, crew and fleet of 4 Airbus 300-600, 3 Airbus 319 (5 on order) and 5 Boeing 737-200. Fox Air Shuttle should reopen some time later this year.

SKYlines will be leasing six 737-700's. They will be used for Fox Air Shuttle operations. Also they will be painted in Fox Air Shuttle colours as shown in the pic on the right.

The Airbus A320-200 has completed flight tests and passed. The A320-200 can now be downloaded from the fleet page.

NEW FLIGHTS! There will be new flights starting in December and January.

24 July 2001
The Airbus A320-200 begins flight tests at the Airbus facility in Finkenwerder, Hamburg, Germany. The flight tests should last about a week. The A320-200 will be ready for download soon.

We have a new Virtual Airlines Stock Market code, the new code is 'SKYL'.

The boeing 777-200 is now currently under going flight tests at Hamburg. The flight tests for the Boeing 767-400 nears the end. It should be ready for download by Friday 27th.

The opening of SKYlines has been delayed to 20th August, until some problems have been sorted out.

The Boeing 767-400, currently under-going flight tests will be ready for download soon. I wish to thank Laurence Rainey for painting it.

The hub pages have been completed and can be viewed from the Hub page. You now no longger download the Boeing 777-200.

The Boeing 777-200 has passed the flight tests conducted at Hamburg, Germany. The 777-200 can now be downloaded at the fleet page.

Moonshine Alliance is a alliance of several VA's such as World International, Winterdhavian Airlines and Otten Airlines. Check out the Moonshine Alliance web site for more detials.

Hub re-think under way. This may mean the end of our Hub in Hamburg. But Italian domestic flights will be operated from Milan Malpensa to destinations such as Rome, Genoa, Florence and many more. These flights are likely to be operated by the Dash 8-400, CRJ100 and the Avro 85. London hub will be uneffected.
